Marseille has initiated the process of finding a new head coach, according to reports. The club’s current manager, Habib Beye, was given two primary objectives: qualifying the team for the Champions League and reaching the final of the Coupe de France. The 48-year-old Senegalese tactician failed to achieve either goal.
Beye took charge at Marseille in February 2026, with his contract running until June 30, 2027. Previously, he managed Red Star and Rennes.
Among the candidates being considered for the managerial position are Bruno Génésio (Lille), Adi Hütter (who left Monaco in autumn 2025), and Christophe Galtier (Neom).
Marseille currently sits in sixth place in the Ligue 1 standings, with 56 points from 33 matches.
