Thank you for your enquiry. Here is some information regarding joining and the benefits one gets from being a member in Malta's exclusive scuba diving club.

Alicia Mirabilis was set up by Subway Dive Centre, Malta's leading PADI Five Star IDC & National Geographic Dive Centre with the aim of promoting Scuba Diving, with all that it involves, to a wider strata of society. Scuba Diving is not only easy and fun but also interesting and rewarding.

One can take up marine conservation, underwater photography, cavern, wreck diving, adventurous diving trips and not forgetting the social meetings we are renowned for. Scuba Diving is held in a fun and relaxing manner and all the lessons involved are run by professionals in their fields.

Besides having the opportunity of meeting many interesting people the club offers, according to the level of membership, discounts on Scuba Diving lessons and also on purchasing or hiring equipment. Members are also shown how to dive the most interesting sites around the Maltese Islands in a safe manner and we also organise Scuba Diving Trips overseas regularly.

Alicia Mirabilis membership fees are as follows:

Gold	Lm 30	€69.88
Silver	Lm 20	€46.59
Bronze	Lm 10	€23.29

This does not mean that Platinum or a Gold member is better then a Bronze member. It is sometimes convenient for a beginner to join as a Gold member to get the full discount benefit on our equipment offers, while a seasoned diver would opt for the Bronze membership as he/she own all the equipment they need.

Platinum Membership Lm60 - 1 Year Subscription in Sport Diver, *Free Air, Up to 50% Discount on Equipment from our Bargain List, Up to 30% Discount on Courses + Equipment Hire 5% Discount on Overseas Trips.

Gold Membership Lm30 (€69.88) - *Free Air, Up to 50% Discount on Equipment from our Bargain List, Up to 30% Discount on Courses + Equipment Hire.

Silver Membership Lm20 (€46.59) - *Free Air, Up to 30% Discount on Equipment from our Bargain List, Up to 20% Discount on Courses, 30% Discount on Equipment Hire.

Bronze Membership Lm 10 (€23.29) - 10% Discount on Equipment from our Bargain List, 20% Discount on Courses, 30% Discount on Equipment Hire.

(*Free Air = Unlimited fills - One registered tank per person)

All club members receive a newsletter informing them on what's on. Meetings are held every Saturday. Saturday mornings are reserved for pool training and classroom sessions, afternoons for open water dives and evenings for night dives and barbecues or social nights out.

All applicants must produce a current Diving Medical Certificate and Two Passport Size Photos. Junior members must be 14 years old and produce a signed declaration by their parents or guardian. All forms are available at Subway Scuba Diving School, Pioneer Road, Bugibba. Medicals can be done at any of our dive centres.

Membership is open only to Residents of Malta.
