If you decide to rent a car for the duration of your stay on Malta, then just let us know on which dates and what type of vehicle you require and we find the best rate for you.

If you are doing an accompanied dive pack with us and staying in the Bugibba, Qawra & St. Paul's Bay Area then note that Subway offers complimentary pick ups from and to your accommodation on the days that you are diving. Transfers to and from dive sites on Malta are also complimentary. 

Driving on Malta is on the left and most Car Hire companies require that the driver has at least 2 years driving experience and is 25 years old.  If the driver is younger than higher insurance rate will apply.
 
Another option is that you book the car hire directly.  Good deals can be found on the Malta Airport website where you can browse the section dedicated to Car Rentals and the Car Rental Companies.

Another option is that you take a Taxi from the airport.  The rates for this service are on this link TAXI.  Rates are fixed and pre-paid tickets can be bought from the ticket booth found in the Welcomers' Hall at Arrivals. Cost by taxi from Airport to Bugibba is € 25.

Another option that can be booked through the Malta Airport website is the Airport to Hotel Shuttle Service.  If you are 1 or 2 persons this service is probably the most cost effective. This service has to be pre-booked online prior to arrival.

Another option is that you use the Public Transport Service.  There are Arriva Busses that from the Airport can take you to anywhere around Malta.  Check out the Arriva website and plan you trip, make sure that the time of your arrival is within the Arriva Service Schedule.
